Jimmie B. Hill Memorial Library

Christ said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38)

The world is desperately in need of the Gospel of Christ as the only path to salvation.  But the world is big and getting bigger with more than 7 billion souls today.  The church desperately needs more preachers, teachers and personal workers to spread the good news that Christ is “the way, the truth and the life.”  (John 14:6)  To teach the world that Christ is the only way to heaven.

But before these workers can teach they must first be taught.

Students of the Bible need books.  They need good, sound, scriptural teaching books to help them become more knowledgeable in hermeneutics, church history, Christian evidences, sermon preparation and delivery, critical thinking and much, much more.  The Jimmie B. Hill Memorial Library provides sound Gospel books to faithful foreign schools of preaching to help with this goal.  And because these books are part of the school library they can be used to teach students for many years to come.

You can be a part of this effort.  Here is how.

  • Donate new or good condition used books.

Check our list of currently needed books HERE.  Send us books from this list and we will send them on to the library most in need of them.

  • Donate funds to buy the books needed.

We will identify the books most needed right now, purchase them and ship them to the library.  Since new textbooks typically cost $25 or more a minimum donation of $25 is needed for this option.

The Jimmie B. Hill Memorial Library is a memorial in another way as well because you can make your donation in the memory of a loved one.  Tell us who and we will add a commemorative label to the book in their honor – a memorial that continues as it helps train future preachers.  We have a donation form you can find HERE with the information we would need.  Please print, complete and send it along when you donate.  Thank you!

“And the things that thou has heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
 2 Timothy 2:2
